Released January 1, 1944Runtime 0h 20mDirector Francesc Comas

The Devil's Throne is an inaccessible summit that has never been successfully climbed. A team of local climbers, consisting of two men and a woman (played by the Catalan climber María Antonia Simó), after a failed and accidented first attempt, will make a second attempt trying to overtake the foreign teams that claim the same summit. The film, set in Montserrat Massif (the Devil's Throne is actually the Trencabarrals Needle), was shot with very few media in 8mm by Francesc Comas, amateur filmmaker and member of the Excursionist Center of Catalonia (CEC), between 1942 and 1943, in the Spanish postwar period.
